ORBITALIS is a free browser survival game by Hung Nguyen. Absorb smaller cosmic bodies, avoid equal or heavier ones, and evolve through 20 forms, from stardust to a black hole.
ORBITALIS is a single-player arcade game built around a simple decision: move toward something you can absorb, or make room for something heavier. A run begins with a small rock and moves through moons, planets, gas giants and stellar forms. Reaching the twentieth form, a Black Hole, completes the journey; endless mode lets you keep going.
The cosmic progression is imagined for play. The mass values and sequence of forms are game rules, not an astronomy lesson or a physically accurate simulation. Momentum, changing scale and the surrounding bodies make route choices matter.
Use WASD or the arrow keys to move. On a phone or tablet, drag in the game field to steer. The radar marks edible bodies and threats. Absorbing smaller objects adds mass and moves you toward your next form. If an equal or heavier body ends your run, restart and try to beat your best.
After a run, “Challenge a friend” shares your tier, mass, and a link. Challenges are friendly comparisons; scores are not verified by a server. The game needs JavaScript and WebGL. Press P or use the pause button to pause. Reach the black hole to finish, then replay or continue in endless mode. Sound can be switched off.
The ORBITALIS field guide has detailed controls, survival tips, real captured gameplay, and the full list of 20 forms and their mass milestones. You can read it before starting the game.
ORBITALIS was created by Hung Nguyen with AI assistance for code and artwork. The game runs locally in your browser and uses Three.js for rendering. There is no multiplayer server or verified global leaderboard.

Gameplay runs in your browser without a player account. Your best result, audio preference and analytics choice are saved on this device using local storage. Clear this site's browser data to remove them. Runs cannot be resumed after leaving the page. Advertising is not active.
If you allow analytics, Google Analytics uses cookies to help measure visits and gameplay, including starts, evolution, play time, replays and challenge-sharing actions. It also receives browser and device information. We load Google Analytics only after you allow it. Advertising personalization and Google Signals are disabled. You can change your choice through “Privacy choices” in the game. Turning analytics off clears its cookies and reloads the game, ending the current run. Analytics cookies are configured to expire 90 days after recent activity; your browser may clear them sooner. The embedded portal edition does not load this Analytics collector.
If you choose to share a result, its tier and mass are included in the link you send. The recipient and the service you share through can see those values. The game uses your device's sharing feature or copies the text to your clipboard; it does not post automatically.
Hosting and network providers receive the requests needed to deliver the game, which can include your IP address and browser information. Fonts load from Google Fonts.
